Purely leptonic decays of the ground charged vector mesons

The study of the purely leptonic decays ground charged vector mesons is very interesting and significant in determining CKM matrix elements, obtaining decay constant mesons, examining lepton flavor universality, searching for new physics beyond standard model. These are induced by weak interactions within model, usually have small branching ratios, ${\cal B}({\rho}^{-}{\to}{\ell}^{-}{\nu}_{\ell})$ ${\sim}$ O}(10^{-13})$, B}(K^{{\ast}-}{\to}{\ell}^{-}{\nu}_{\ell})$ B}(D_{d}^{{\ast}-}{\to}{\ell}^{-}{\nu}_{\ell})$ O}(10^{-10})$, B}(B_{u}^{{\ast}-}{\to}{\ell}^{-}{\nu}_{\ell})$ B}(D_{s}^{{\ast}-}{\to}{\ell}^{-}{\nu}_{\ell})$ O}(10^{-6})$ B}(B_{c}^{{\ast}-}{\to}{\ell}^{-}{\nu}_{\ell})$ O}(10^{-6})$. Inspired potential prospects LHCb, Belle-II, STCF, CEPC FCC-ee experiments, we discussed probabilities experimental investigation on these decays. It found that measurements might be possible feasible with improvement data statistics, analytical technique, measurement precision future. (1) With hadron-hadron collisions, ${\rho}^{-}$, $K^{{\ast}-}$, $D_{d,s}^{{\ast}-}$ $B_{u,c}^{{\ast}-}$ accessible at LHC experiments. (2) $e^{+}e^{-}$ measurable over $10^{12}$ $Z^{0}$ bosons available In addition, ${\to}$ ${\ell}^{-}{\nu}_{\ell}$ could also studied Belle-II SCTF

We employ the relativistic constituent quark model to give a unified description of the leptonic and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons (π, K, D, Ds, B, Bs). The calculated leptonic decay constants and form factors are found to be in good agreement with available experimental data and other approaches. We reproduce the results of spin-flavor symmetry in the heavy quark limit.

The present status of lattice calculations of fD, fB and some mass splittings are discussed. When one includes the uncertainties due to discretization errors, the results do not yet have a suucient precision to be relevant to phenomenological applications. There are, however, good prospects of cutting down the uncertainties by a factor of 2 or more soon.
